Recovered from forgotten tapes (cassette, DAT, Mini Disc), 30 previously unreleased musical gems, created between 1994 and 1998, reveal the effervescent creative phase of the Chilean musician and producer. Before establishing himself as Fiat600, Conejeros embarked on a solitary adventure after leaving behind projects such as Pinochet Boys, Carlos Calor, and Los Parkinson.

Fueled by a brand-new Mac and early software, this musician tirelessly explored a universe of sounds with both his own and borrowed instruments. Prototipo is a fascinating journey to the roots of IDM, techno, dub, ambient, and his patented “luma & bass,” presenting discarded tracks that now shine with their own light.
